Moscow Recruiting

Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP offers opportunities for Russian law graduates to work across a wide range of transactions and matters involving all our practice areas representing Russian, CIS and international clients. Working closely with other lawyers in Moscow and the firm's offices internationally, you will become part of a growing team in a friendly, dynamic and supportive environment.

We are always looking for:
  • Talented and highly motivated individuals who have a genuine enthusiasm for the law and its application in a commercial and entrepreneurial context; and
  • People with excellent academic qualifications who want to develop their skills as lawyers and who have a strong desire to develop their career in a successful international law firm.

Graduate Training Program

We take on legal interns and give them significant on-the-job training. Our two-year program is designed to offer each intern an opportunity to work with both partners and associates. During this period, you will gain practical legal knowledge and experience and develop your skills so that you can join Dewey & LeBoeuf as an associate. We offer the chance to work in a leading international law firm with acknowledged leaders in international and Russian law. We also provide a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Candidates for the program should be fluent in Russian and English (both spoken and written) and have:
  • Excellent academic credentials;
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to think analytically and offer practical solutions;
  • Motivation, creativity and attention to detail;
  • Commitment to his/her own professional development; and
  • The ability to work as part of a team or independently, as required.

Preference will be given to those candidates (1) who are recent graduates, or (2) who are currently law students in their fourth or fifth year at a leading university. We favor candidates who have:
  • An LL.M. or similar postgraduate qualification from a US, UK or German university;
  • Work experience in an international law firm; and
  • Fluency in a third foreign language (English being the second).

If you meet these criteria and are interested in a career with Dewey & LeBoeuf, please submit your cover letter, resume and qualifications and university grades to date (in English) to our recruiting contact.
