At Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, our lawyers are able to take advantage of many rewarding professional development opportunities in addition to challenging client assignments. Dewey & LeBoeuf University (DLU) provides an extensive curriculum for each phase of a lawyer's career. Courses include one-hour to multi-day programs that delve into the latest legal trends and the business of law with a focus on specific skills development. Through formal mentor matches and intra-office secondments, lawyers have access to a global network of colleagues that enrich one's career experience. Lawyers at Dewey & LeBoeuf receive formal feedback on a regular basis, which allows partners and associates to chart the appropriate course for career development and client service success.

The firm has also instituted an Associate Relations Committee. The ARC is charged with identifying areas of focus for firm management and has held forums to solicit feedback from associates firm-wide on topics such as: compensation; professional development opportunities and firm communications.  The ARC meets frequently with firm management to share information and ideas.  During the year, our firm acknowledges individual achievements through mentor and pro bono awards and celebrates the firm's contributions to the community at large.
