Education and Awareness

In an effort to fully leverage the talent of our diverse workforce, we have implemented workshops and educational programs that aim to increase cultural awareness and create a better understanding around cultural differences. These include:

Diversity Workshops
Our workshops provide information and insight on the impact of diversity in the workplace and on client relations.

Unconscious Bias Workshops
These are designed to focus awareness on how bias can impact the recruiting and interview process. Participants are provided with recommendations on how to create a bias-free selection process.

On-boarding Initiatives
Through presentations, we make sure that summer associates and those who join the firm are introduced to the importance of diversity at Dewey & LeBoeuf.

Cultural Events
We sponsor events and programs in recognition of Black History, Asian Pacific American and Hispanic Heritage months, as well as Gay Pride Month.

DLculture
We publish a diversity-focused newsletter to inform everyone at the firm about diversity and inclusion events and issues.
