Volker Holl is a lawyer in the Frankfurt office of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP. His main practice area is corporate real estate, where he advises clients at the interface of corporate and real estate law with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and real estate transactions. His scope of advice ranges from due diligence investigations and transaction structuring to the preparation and negotiation of the transaction documentation, as well as to corporate restructurings post closing. He also covers corporate law issues, such as capital maintenance and piercing the corporate veil that may arise in the context of the financing of transactions.

His clients include listed real estate companies as well as private equity investors and asset managers. In the recent past, he advised, among others, Colonia Real Estate AG on the expansion of its asset management and privatization activities by way of several strategic acquisitions. Volker Holl also frequently advises Deutsche Wohnen AG and Merkel Group in connection with their respective nursing home activities in Germany.

Prior to joining Dewey & LeBoeuf in January 2008, he was with a domestic law firm since 2006 as a partner, advising predominantly on real estate law.
