Joseph Marx is a corporate lawyer in Frankfurt with a broad range of experience in international finance and securities. He has represented public and private issuers, underwriters, investors, placement agents, selling shareholders and depositaries in multijurisdictional equity and debt offerings.
Joseph Marx also regularly advises clients on a wide variety of US securities law issues, including US securities law aspects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions and provides general corporate law advice to international corporate clients based in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Before practicing law, Mr. Marx served as a foreign policy assistant to former President Richard M. Nixon and as speechwriter to President Bush’s 1992 reelection campaign.
