Dewey & LeBoeuf Adds to its Paris Intellectual Property and it Practice with Hire of Counsel Gaëtan Cordier
Paris, 25 January 2008 - International law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf is pleased to announce the arrival of Gaëtan Cordier, who joins the Paris office as counsel and will lead the expansion of the intellectual property and information technology practice in Paris.
Gaëtan has previously acted for some of the world's largest internet, pharmaceutical, life sciences and luxury goods companies. His practice spans both the corporate transactional side of intellectual property and IT practice, as well as the litigious side of practice.
Gaëtan is one of the select French representatives listed on the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Centre's panel of neutrals.
He joins Dewey & LeBoeuf from the Paris office of a magic circle UK firm.
Commenting on the move, Gaëtan said, "I am really pleased to be joining the firm, particularly at this period in its growth. With the merger of Dewey Ballantine and LeBoeuf Lamb Greene & MacRae last October, Dewey & LeBoeuf has one of the strongest global IP, IT and Life Sciences practices in the world. It's an exciting time to be part of such a strong global team."
Yves Huyghé de Mahenge, Paris office Managing Partner, commented "We are delighted to welcome Gaëtan to Dewey & LeBoeuf. His arrival boosts and further strengthens our European intellectual property and IT practice, taking it to greater heights as we serve our clients both within Europe and in the United States."
