New Partner Joins Dewey & LeBoeuf's Compensation, Benefits and Employment Practice in London
(London, March 10, 2010) — Dewey & LeBoeuf is pleased to announce that Sarah Linton has joined the firm as a partner and head of the UK Employment Practice in the firm's global Compensation, Benefits and Employment Practice Group.
Sarah advises on all aspects of employment law, including employment contracts, termination agreements, disputes, non-compete and confidentiality covenants, trade union and employee representation issues, European and domestic works councils, strategic European HR issues, employment aspects of international transactions, data protection and privacy matters, transfer of undertakings issues, and employment litigation including unfair dismissal, wrongful termination, discrimination claims and bonus disputes. Sarah also advises on business-related immigration law.
Prior to joining Dewey & LeBoeuf, Sarah was head of Bryan Cave's UK Employment Practice. She received her B.A. from Oxford University. Prior to training as a commercial lawyer, Ms. Linton worked as a journalist in France and the UK and also for one of the UK's early satellite television stations. Ms. Linton regularly contributes to legal and other publications on employment law-related subjects, in particular on the transfer of undertakings. Sarah is fluent in French, German and Spanish.
