Dewey & LeBoeuf Wins at The Lawyer Awards 2009
Dewey & LeBoeuf was awarded "Real Estate Team of the Year" at The Lawyer magazine's 2009 Awards. Real Estate Partner Graham Prentice and Environmental Partner Nicholas Rock won the prestigious award for their highly innovative urban regeneration work in Wales with client British Petroleum.
Out of a record number of entries for these UK and international awards, Chairman of the firm Steven H. Davis placed third in the "Partner of the Year" category. He was singled out for exceptional leadership of a global law firm. Additionally, Dewey & LeBoeuf was shortlisted for "International Law Firm of the Year." In winning this recognition, the firm achieved more nominations than any other US-based firm.
