Alan Howard Highlighted in the July Issue of The American Lawyer; Firm Ranks No. 13 for Pro Bono Work in 2008

We are pleased to report that Partner Alan Howard has been highlighted in the July "A-List" edition of The American Lawyer for his work on behalf of Jesse Ray Beard, one of the Jena 6 defendants.

Additionally, for Dewey & LeBoeuf's first appearance as a merged firm in The American Lawyer's annual Pro Bono Rankings, we debuted at No. 13 for our work in 2008. Our US offices contributed 125.2 pro bono hours per lawyer last year, with 74.8 percent of our lawyers contributing more than 20 hours. Had our firm's pro bono hours been combined for 2007, we would have ranked approximately No. 21.

We also acknowledged this year's recipients of the Lisa Beth Deutsch Pro Bono Award with a congratulatory message in the "A-List" edition.
