Michael F. Fitzpatrick Jr.

Mr. Fitzpatrick is a partner in Dewey & LeBoeuf’s Global Energy Capital Markets Group. He has extensive experience representing issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions, principally in the utility and energy area. These transactions involve both taxable and tax-exempt securities, including "hybrid" securities. He has represented electric and natural gas utilities and underwriters in connection with utility securitizations. Mr. Fitzpatrick also advises companies on general corporate and securities law matters, including compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other aspects of corporate governance.

Awards and Recognitions

Mr. Fitzpatrick was recognized in Chambers USA - America's Leading Lawyers for Business 2006-2010 as a leader in the field of Energy and in New York Super Lawyers 2007-2009 for Business/Corporate law. Mr. Fitzpatrick was also named to the 2008 BTI "Client Service All-Star Team" for Law Firms.
