Bruno Gattai is head of Dewey & LeBoeuf's Italian Practice, Managing Partner of its Milan office and a member of the Firm's Executive Committee.

Mr. Gattai achieved broad experience in activities involving corporate and M&A transactions with particular focus on private equity. His clients include private equity funds targeting large deals or mid and small cap companies; family businesses concentrating on their holding companies; and listed and non-listed companies. He advises on a wide variety of Italian and international transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, capital contributions, spin-offs and de-mergers. He drafts and assists clients in the negotiations of incorporation deeds and by-laws, joint venture agreements, stock purchase agreements, and shareholders' agreements and coordinates the relevant due diligence activities. Mr Gattai also advises clients on hostile and non-hostile (mandatory or voluntary) takeover bids, both through public tender offers and within the framework of private transactions.
