Michael D. Klein

Michael Klein has extensive experience in the areas of administrative law (utility and environmental), eminent domain, and finance and construction law. His work includes representing utilities, municipalities and corporations. Mr. Klein represents clients on wind-power projects and on natural-gas leasing, primarily involving Marcellus Shale. He handles an array of drinking-water, sanitary-sewer and water-rights cases and is legal counsel to the Pennsylvania chapters of several US and international associations of public water suppliers. Mr. Klein represents clients in litigation mergers, acquisitions, and public and private financings. He is also active in representing public and private owners in the siting and permitting of drinking-water, wastewater, wind-power, natural gas, oil and solid-waste disposal facilities.

- Lead litigator on case involving the safety of the use of chloramines in drinking water
