Yoo-Kyeong Kwon Kudo
Counsel
Yoo-Kyeong Kwon Kudo works on structured finance, corporate finance, structured products and derivatives transactions. She has advised issuers, underwriters, lenders and insurance companies in asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities offerings, asset-backed commercial paper programs, catastrophe and mortality bond offerings, interest rate swaps and caps, warehouse financing programs and acquisitions. She has represented investment advisors, credit enhancers, hedge funds and other derivatives end-users on a variety of transactions, including CDOs (including synthetic and hybrid CDOs), credit and equity derivatives (including total return swaps, market value swaps and prepaid forwards) and securities arbitrage programs. She has also represented an investor on a $1.5 billion equity monetization strategy involving total return swaps, prepaid forwards and other derivative transactions.
Ms. Kudo has assisted several of the firm's non-profit pro bono clients with incorporation, drafting bylaws, obtaining federal and state tax exemption, non-judicial dissolution and other legal issues.
