Nicola Mariani

Nicola Mariani is a partner in Dewey & LeBoeuf's Paris office. Prior to 2006, he was a member of the corporate and international arbitration departments at a leading magic circle firm in Paris for several years.
Mr. Mariani's practice centers on French and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, including public merger and acquisition transactions and transactions involving stock exchange matters. He also heads the Sports Law practice in the firm's Paris office.

- Advising the M1 Group in the acquisition of Façonnable;
- Advising a French energy company in the acquisition of a gas-fired electrical plant;
- Advising a financial institution in the negotiations of its title sponsorship agreement with an F1 racing team;
- Advising an energy company in the acquisition of petroleum-related assets;
- Advising a leading tire manufacturer in its supply agreements;
- Advising a major oil company in relation to the acquisition of a listed company in France; and
- Advising a major telecom company in its potential acquisition of a listed company in France.
