Partner

Benedikt von Schorlemer is partner in the corporate group and highly experienced in the areas of mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and private equity. His practice also includes corporate restructurings. He advises domestic and multinational corporations in acquisitions and divestitures, including all related pre- and post-acquisition matters.

In the area of private equity, Benedikt von Schorlemer advises investors in all phases of an investment cycle from the financing of an investment to the exit (with a particular emphasis on trade sales and MBOs) including advice to both investors and management teams on management participation schemes. As well, Benedikt von Schorlemer advises on distressed assets transactions.

He has particular experience in the chemical, medical and manufacturing industry as well as in the area of information technology.

Benedikt von Schorlemer is described in the JUVE Yearbook 2010/2011 as well as in "The Legal 500 Germany" as a “frequently recommended lawyer.”
