Dewey & LeBoeuf Advises on IFLR's Middle East M&A Deal of the Year 2010
The firm has advised on one of International Financial Law Review (IFLR) magazine's Middle East deals of the year for the second consecutive year, playing the lead role in the M&A Deal of the Year 2010.
A team led by London Partners Camille Abousleiman and Simon Briggs advised Saudi private investment firm Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) on its $370m acquisition of the 44% of shares in Dubai's Kingdom Hotel Investments (KHI) not already held by KHC under the Dubai takeover rules, including the delisting of KHI from the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and NASDAQ Dubai. The firm advised on the initial listing of KHI on both the DIFX (now Nasdaq Dubai) and LSE in March 2006.
Simon and Camille worked alongside London Associates Rebecca Flanagan and Ashmi Bhagani and Dubai Associates Rob Vickers, Rodolphe Pellerin and Derrick Khoo.
The firm was also shortlisted for Equity Capital Market Deal of the Year for AGC Capital Partners equity raising.
