Tokai Corp. v. Easton Enters. Inc.

On January 31, 2011, the Federal Circuit affirmed the district court’s summary judgment that U.S. Patents No. 5,697,775, No. 5,897,308, and No. 6,093,017, which related to safety utility lighters having extended lighting rods, were invalid as obvious under 35 U.S.C. § 103.
