Stephen Walters advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity transactions, joint ventures, equity financing, and other transactional work for corporate clients, investment funds and financial institutions.

Mr. Walters, who has more than 20 years' experience, practiced in Paris for a number of years and now divides his time between our London and Paris offices.

Mr Walters has been described as a "tenacious deal maker… he is internationally focused but grasps the cultural nuances of the local market". He is recognised as "a very able draftsman and an astute negotiator in both private equity and public M&A transactions" (Chambers Europe). He is recognised as a leading practitioner in his field by Chambers, Legal 500 and European Legal Experts.

In his practice Mr. Walters regularly works with teams of specialised lawyers drawn from across our network of offices, according to the needs of the transaction, on M&A and corporate finance transactions. He has experience in a range of industries, including in particular the financial services, energy and life sciences sectors.
