Dewey & LeBoeuf Adds to its Warsaw Corporate Practice with Hire of Two Local Partners

(Warsaw, 3 March 2008) - Dewey & LeBoeuf has added two local partners - Kazimierz Jeleński and Krzysztof Pisarek - to its Warsaw office, bringing the total number of partners in the office to 18.

Mr. Jeleński has extensive experience in banking, finance and insurance law, and M&A. He has acted as transaction counsel to Polish and international clients in various financing transactions, M&A, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. He has experience in advising investors with respect to mining and gas exploration activities in Poland, and has also previously advised insurance companies. Chambers Global 2008 lists Mr. Jeleński as a leading lawyer in banking and finance.

Mr. Pisarek has extensive experience in civil and corporate law. He has advised a large roster of domestic and international clients on M&A and post-M&A restructurings. He has also represented numerous clients in litigation involving business law matters.
