Dewey & LeBoeuf's Warsaw Office wins IFLR Poland Law Firm of the Year
Dewey & LeBoeuf's Warsaw office was recognized for the fourth time as Poland's "Law Firm of the Year," by The International Financial Law Review (IFLR). The first three awards were given in consecutive years: 2004, 2005 and 2006. The IFLR Awards take into account the track record of international transactions over the past year, as well as research questionnaires sent to law firms, and in-depth interviews with corporate clients and lawyers at all the leading firms in each European country. The criteria include an analysis of the complexity of top transactions, plus innovation, quality of service and cross-border capability.
Jarosław Grzesiak, managing partner of the Warsaw office, received the award on behalf of the firm at the IFLR European Awards ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London, on the evening of March 18.
Three notable deals undertaken by Dewey & LeBoeuf in Poland recently include the Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), where we represented the issuer; the ENEA S.A. IPO on the WSE, where we represented the global coordinator, sole bookrunner and lead manager; plus the sale of Bank BPH to GE Money, where we represented majority shareholder UniCredit.
